Mary Ann Coon, Business Assistant

Mary Ann Coon is our front office business assistant to Janice our office manager.

Mary Ann came to the dental field and into our lives in October 2002.  In any business you want the initial contact of a customer, client or patient to be a very positive experience.  "You never get a second chance to make a first impression."  Mary Ann provides that first, positive, good impression.  She has the kindest, most gentle disposition of anyone we've ever met and that feeling comes through the telephone when she communicates with our patients, whether it's the first time calling or the 100th time.  Mary Ann is the gold standard when it comes to phone etiquette and a comforting tone of voice.

Mary Ann is responsible for scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims for co-payments, daily communications with the many different insurance companies to verify eligibility, determine effective dates and renewal dates, annual maximum, and breakdown of insurance coverage in the various categories of treatment.  She also does follow-up inquiries to make sure co-payments are received in a timely manner.

Mary Ann and Jan guide our patients through the business aspects of their dental visits.  We are extremely fortunate to have the talents of these two dynamic women to represent our office.
